Our story
We’re Keren and Niv, a therapist and a farmer, partners and parents of three magical kids.

In the months before October 2023, we designed and built our yurts. We wanted a place where people could pause, rest and heal from the fast, noisy pace of life.
We didn’t choose the name. It was already there: Keren and Niv, and between us a nest (ken, in Hebrew). Only later did we see how well it fits the place itself: a round, welcoming space to stay, rest and grow, and then fly on with lighter wings.
On Friday, October 6, 2023, we finished getting everything ready and couldn’t wait to open on Sunday.
On October 7 we woke up to the shock. That same night, people who had been evacuated from their homes were already calling us, looking for refuge from the fighting.
And so the yurts first opened on October 8, 2023.

Some of our first guests stayed with us for a long time. Others came for a few days to get away from the crowded evacuation hotels, looking for quiet, privacy and a sense of family. We met so much pain and so many different stories in those days, and we were grateful to offer many people space, rest, a listening ear, room to breathe and a hug.
Since then we’ve watched how full and complicated daily life here is. Stress builds up, workdays are long, and people long for well-being, for themselves, as couples and as families. It all adds up to a real need for rest.
That’s what the yurts are for. They’re built from natural materials, and the round shape does something: step inside and you breathe more deeply. We wanted a place where your mind can clear and you can sigh with relief, an honest meeting place for individuals, couples, families or any group that wants to stop, breathe and regain strength in privacy and quiet.
So come fold your wings for a while and rest in the Nest.
Breathe, air out, and gather strength for your next flight.

Keren Almog Goldman
Host, therapist and creator of the Nest. Many years of guiding people through personal processes and difficult times.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve noticed what goes unsaid: body language, gestures, the space between what’s said and what isn’t, relationships. From a young age I read between the lines, picked up on feelings, interactions and complexities, and carried them with me, not always knowingly.
Over the years, through deep and wide-ranging awareness work, I’ve seen more and more how we can look inward and find answers there. I’ve worked with children, special-needs populations, parents, couples and adults through upheaval, change and hard transitions, and I’ve been privileged to walk alongside them.

Where hosting meets therapy
I hold a bachelor’s degree in the field, and went on to study and work with spiritual and alternative approaches. For years I worked in equine-assisted therapy at a healing ranch and in parent guidance, and today I bring Trilotherapy, Family Constellations and nature into my sessions.

- Guidance for parents and special-needs populations
- Meditation, nature and process
Years of work have taught me that the right space, and knowing you’re truly being listened to, change how people feel and how ready they are to touch something and change.
That’s why my partner and I opened the Nest: we believe calm, fresh air and ease are a necessity, not a luxury. And becoming aware of our resources, and of our darker places too, is part of how we grow the love we can give and receive.

Come rest in the Nest
A question, a stay, a private retreat or your next workshop: we’re here for all of it.
