Terms and cancellation policy
Updated September 20, 2026
Welcome to the Rest in Nest website, operated by Keren Almog Goldman, Moshav Eli-Ad, the southern Golan Heights. These terms are written for everyone, regardless of gender.
The service
We offer overnight stays in two private yurts, private retreats tailored to each guest, and rental of the space for workshops and gatherings. Details of each service, including prices, appear on the relevant pages of the website.
Prices on the website
Prices on the website are base prices in New Israeli Shekels (₪) and are a guide only. The final price of a stay depends on the number of nights, the number of guests and the sessions chosen, and is confirmed with the guest in writing before booking. We may update prices on the website from time to time. A price update does not apply to a booking that has already been confirmed.
Booking and confirmation
A booking is confirmed only once it has been arranged with us and the dates, number of guests and final price have been confirmed in writing (WhatsApp, email or text message). Sending an inquiry through a form on the website is not a confirmed booking. Your dates are held once we receive payment. You can pay the full amount in advance or, by arrangement with us, pay half when you book and the balance on the day you arrive.
Private retreat
A private retreat includes an intro call beforehand, coordination with the practitioners for the sessions you choose, and building a schedule. Treatments and sessions are given by independent professionals, and we coordinate with them on your behalf. A practitioner’s availability may change. If that happens, we will offer a suitable alternative in coordination with you.
A retreat is not medical or psychiatric treatment and is not a substitute for ongoing mental health care. If you are in an acute crisis, please consult your own therapist before coming.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Guests who observe Shabbat and holidays can stay until Shabbat or the holiday ends, for an additional ₪150 for the whole stay, arranged in advance.
Cancellation policy
Our terms depend on how far ahead of your arrival date you cancel:
- Up to 14 days before arrival: the payment will be refunded in full.
- Between 14 days and two days before arrival: 50% of the payment will be refunded.
- From two days before arrival onward: the payment will not be refunded.
If you paid only a deposit, the same terms apply, always calculated on the full price of the stay: up to 14 days before arrival, the deposit is refunded in full · between 14 days and two days before arrival, we keep 50% of the full price, so a deposit of half is not refunded · from two days before arrival onward, the deposit is not refunded, and we will not collect the unpaid balance.
In any cancellation, under any of the options above, if we are still holding a payment, you keep the right to come on another date that suits both sides, taking into account the amount you paid in advance.
If you find other guests to stay in the yurt in your place, you get the full amount back in any of the cancellation cases.
If there is a security situation, you can cancel free of charge at any time.
Statutory right of cancellation
In short, and in plain language: on top of our own cancellation terms, the law gives you an extra cancellation window. If you cancel within 14 days of booking, and at least seven days that are not rest days before your stay begins, you get an almost full refund. Only a small cancellation fee is deducted: 5 percent of the transaction or ₪100, whichever is lower.
In addition to our terms, you have a right of cancellation under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations issued under it. For a transaction for hospitality services, this consumer right applies within 14 days of the date you made the booking or the date you received the document with the transaction details, whichever is later, provided you cancel at least seven days that are not rest days before the stay begins. In that case, your payment is refunded less a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction price or ₪100, whichever is lower.
A person with a disability, a senior citizen or a new immigrant has an extended right of cancellation by law, within four months of the booking date, on presenting an appropriate certificate.
Whenever your statutory right is more favorable to you than our terms, the statutory right applies.
Cancellation by us and circumstances beyond our control
In exceptional cases where we cannot host your stay, we will let you know as soon as possible and, at your choice, refund the full amount paid or offer another date. This does not oblige us to pay any further compensation.
In an emergency, under an order of a competent authority, or in circumstances beyond either party’s control, we will contact you and find a suitable solution together, including postponing the date.
House rules
- The space is intimate and quiet. Please keep quiet during rest hours and respect the privacy of the other unit.
- No fires inside the yurt. Campfires are allowed only in the fire pit in the yard, and at the guests’ own responsibility.
- You can bring firewood from home, or buy it from us at cost: ₪59 per crate.
- Guests of those renting the yurt may sleep in a tent in the yard only by prior arrangement and with payment in advance.
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the structure or equipment during their stay. Damage that did not exist before you arrived will be charged at the cost of repair or replacement, and we will let you know before any charge.
Liability
Your time on the grounds and in the surrounding area, including trails and water sources in the region, is at your own responsibility. We are not liable for damage to or loss of personal property.
